I'm Yanran Li

Friends call me "Happy" :D

I’m a junior studying Information Science (UX concentration) at Cornell University, minoring in Design Environmental, Analysis.  Previously UI/UX design intern @ Wiley.

On campus, I'm part of Cornell Design & Tech Initiative, a project team that makes a real community impact through its products. I'm also a design consultant at Design Consulting at Cornell.  

I believe designer has the unique ability to spread positivity to users and thus I strive to build experiences that solve real problems.

I’m also an artist, cat person, model, and secret vlogger...

My passion for design began with my love for drawing and painting. I explored various mediums, from acrylic and oil painting to physical installations and digital art, as a way to express my creativity. Design, for me, is where aesthetics meet practical problem-solving, allowing me to merge beauty with functionality!

I had the opportunity to model in front of an audience of over 2,000 for the Cornell Fashion Collective's spring show for two consecutive years, in addition to working with various fashion brands and photography studios.
